Letter to Ambassador of WHO- Renee Fleming
January 3, 2024
Mrs. Renée Fleming
New York, NY 10023
USA
Dear Mrs. Fleming,
Congratulations for the Award bestowed on you last week.
As Ambassador to the World Health Organization, we are writing
to you asking for help for the children of Choco, Colombia, an
area enclaved between mountains and jungle in the northwest
corner of South America.
Malaria is a big health problem in Choco. The Malaria Vaccine was
developed in Oxford and distributed by the WHO. The following list
are the statistics of Malaria cases in Choco, Colombia in the last five years.
2023: 35.498 cases
2022: 23.635 cases
2021: 24.024 cases
2020: 21.023 cases
2019: 24.667 cases
We wonder if you can help the Choco children asking WHO-PAHO to make
the vaccine available to these poor children. 67% of families live on
less than two dollars a day.
May God bless you and your family in the Year 2024
Sincerely,
Jim Gomez, MD
