The Sowing Seeds for the Future Foundation has asked me to collaborate with one of their projects in order to solicit donations for the Children of Chocó, Colombia.  This department has a child mortality rate, which is five times higher than the rest of the country.  Seven out of ten children are malnourished and anemic.  In March, 2012, RCN reported that children between 5 and 10 years old were committing suicide due to hunger.  75% of the population lives in the margin of poverty surrounded by mines of gold, platinum and uranium.
The SS4FF a nonprofit foundation in Minnesota, has started a campaign to collaborate with the Rotary Club Bogotá-Laureles and their Soy Milk Program.  The Rotary Club has installed more than 126 “soy cows” in Colombia.  Each soymilk processing equipment, made and installed in Colombia, has a cost of five thousand dollars ($5.000 USD).  The goal of SS4FF is to raise funds to purchase the “soy cows” for different municipalities of Chocó, to feed the children who are suffering from malnutrition.  One hundred percent of the proceeds of the campaign will be used to purchase and install the equipment.
Knowing of your generosity, the Sowing Seeds for the Future Foundation is requesting your financial assistance to help the children of Chocó, Colombia.  Donations are tax-exempt in the United States.

Thank you very much.
