We are the voice of children

We are the voice of the children

As we start the Campaign to eliminate the malnutrition and child mortality in Choco, some things come to mind.  We are the voices of the poor malnourished children, who have no way to speak up. As adults we are responsible to do something for the children who cannot thrive because they have no way to access the resources.

Can you imagine,if you had no coffee in the morning?  Or if you could not eat your sandwich at lunch?  Or how about if there was no money for the chocolates or chips you like to eat?  Going to sleep hungry, night after night?   We live in a society that suffers from excess.  We go on a diet every Monday because we loss control eating desserts and high calorie snacks.  It is hard to imagine, if we did not have any of that.

Well, that is the reality for many children in Choco.  Three thousand children are experiencing severe malnutrition.  Some are committing suicide, because they cannot take the hunger any more.  15.000 families are suffering from poverty and cannot meet their daily calorie intake in Choco.

Please help us by sending a tax-exempt donation to Sowing Seeds for the Future Foundation, P.O.Box 2033, Stillwater, MN 55082. 100% of the donation will be used to purchase soy milk equipment for the 5 main cities of Choco:  Andagoya, Alto Baudo, Bagado, Condoto, and Ismina.   We donate our own administrative costs.

Thank you and God Bless you.
