El Cociente Intelectual de la Humanidad - The IQ of Humanity

Hace un siglo, el mundo se preparaba para la primera guerra mundial de 1914.  Hoy, cien años después se creería que la humanidad ha aprendido algo de las lecciones del siglo pasado, luego de dos guerras mundiales, y varias otras guerras.  Pero, el cociente intelectual de la humanidad parece no haber evolucionado nada en un siglo en cuanto al manejo del conflicto, lo cual es una verguenza para nuestra raza humana.  Con todos los avances de la tecnología, la ciencia, la psicología y la diplomacia, se creería que hemos aprendido a resolver conflictos, a manejar los problemas verbalmente, identificando objetivos, opciones y soluciones.  Sin embargo, se apela a los instintos más básicos, mas animales:  la violencia y la eliminación de seres humanos usando armas, para destruirse unos a otros.

Lo más vergonzoso de este asunto, es el liderazgo de quienes están en las posiciones presidenciales en los diversos países del mundo y quienes pueden tener el control de estas situaciones. Las crisis en las fronteras entre Ukrania, Rusia; Israel, Palestina; Iraq-Syria; Libya, Corea del Norte, Centro America, y Estados Unidos y los aviones que continúan cayendo del cielo, como si estuvieran obnubilados ante la fuerza de gravedad.

Muchas de estas ideas de estas crisis que vivimos, parecen salidas de los libros de Tom Clancy, el que estoy leyendo:  "Executive Orders" publicado en 1996.  Parece que las noticias estuvieran basadas en este libro de ficción, o será que la agenda loca del mundo esta basada en estos libros ficticios?  Cualquier parecido con la realidad... no parece coincidencia.

Es hora de que la raza humana madure y evolucione, deje de jugar con sus juguetes agresivos y armas y se siente a la mesa a discutir sus conflictos y los resuelva sin pagar el costo con las vidas de personas inocentes.

Rezamos por que los líderes de los países en conflicto tengan la sabiduría para manejar estas situaciones sin costo a las vidas inocentes.

A century ago, the world was preparing for World War I, 1914. Today, one hundred years later, it is hard to believe that humanity has learned nothing from the lessons of the last century, after two world wars and several other wars. But the IQ of humanity does not seem to have evolved in a century, in what refers to managing conflict.  What a shame for our human race! With all the advancements in technology, science, psychology and diplomacy, one would think we have learned to solve problems, handle conflicts verbally, identify objectives, options and solutions. However, we seem to be appealing to baser animal instincts with violence and the elimination of human beings using weapons to destroy each other.

The most shameful of all, is the leadership of those in the presidential positions in the various countries. The crisis on the borders between Ukraine, Russia; Israel, Palestine; Iraq-Syria; Libya; North Corea; Central America, and the United States.  Not to mention that the airplanes continue to fall from the sky, as if they were clouded by the gravitational forces.

Many of the ideas in these crises we are living today, look like something out of the books of Tom Clancy.  The one I'm reading. "Executive Orders" published in 1996 seem as if the news were based on this fiction book.   Any resemblance to reality ... it does not seem coincidental.

It's time for the human race to mature and evolve, stop playing with their aggressive toys and weapons, and sit at the table to discuss and resolve their conflicts without paying the cost with the lives of innocent people.

We pray for the leaders of these countries in crisis, that God grant them the wisdom to solve these crisis with the least cost of human lives.
